guesstimate: 어림짐작. 추측.
estimate보다는 좀 더 주관적인 추측을 할때 쓴다. 개발자들이 이메일을 주고 받을 때는 통계 수치 등의 숫자가 들어가는 경우가 많다. 그런데 어떤 때는 정확한 수치를 알기는 힘들지만 대충이라도 어느 정도인지 알려주는 것이 상대방에게 도움이 되는 경우가 있다. 이때 my guesstimate이라고 시작하면 된다.

예문:
My guesstimate is half the machines in the system produced incorrect results.
해당 시스템을 구성하는 컴퓨터들의 절반정도는 잘못된 결과를 냈다고 짐작한다.
